Young Woman Hurt Found On National Trail Headed To Chicago
A young woman hiking to Chicago was found unconscious on a concrete slab near Andersen Station west of Maryville Junction after a fall. Driver KE EL Campbell took her to Collinsville for care where she received treatment and later slept at the Fairmont Hotel. She said she walked from Desart, Ma, to save money, had no funds for hospital bills, and declined charity. Early this morning she left Voliazville but returned after a coach urged her to come back. Sues For Divorce. Victor J. Trures, formerly of Edwardsville, filed for divorce from Mrs. Dertha Trares in Belleville Circuit Court alleging desertion. They were married January 12 and separated five years ago. They have two children, Jerome, 17, and Helen, 15. The Trares family resides in Edwardsville.
