The Dunstedter Mill, a historic Edwardsville landmark built about 1850 by Jacob Dunstedter, is being wrecked after sale to Otis Drake. The front portion will be torn away and land sold to C. T. Dunlap. The mill produced corn meat flour sorghum whisky cider wine and operated shops and pattern production. Jacob Dunstedter pioneered a double traction engine and a railcar wheel concept. many valuables and patterns remain stored on site.
