William Kuethe Dies After Illness at 68
William Hf Kuethe, 68, died last evening at 6 15 after a nine month illness. A longtime Prairietown area resident, he was born in Mattenhagen and came to the U S at age eleven with his parents. He married Minnie D Brakhane in 1884, who died over 60 years ago, and later married Margaret Buker in 1898. Surviving children include Hdn Kuethe, Ferdinand, Theodore, Herman, and Amelia Stroud, plus two brothers and fourteen grandchildren. Funeral at 150 from his Buchanan Street home to the Lutheran Church at 2 pm Sunday. Burial in Prairie Town Cemetery. Rev. John to officiate. Body at Marks and Weber Funeral Home until Saturday when moved to the family residence.

Miss Tanned Chandler McCrea, 76, widow of Tlugh T. McCrea County Superintendent, died yesterday morning at her daughter's home after a stroke. A native of Ossterburg, she lived in Madison County where her husband worked as a teacher before moving to Afton twenty years ago. Survivors include her daughter Mrs Oliver K. Berne and son Erich McCrea of Boston along with other relatives. Funeral services planned Tuesday at 2 PM at the Ur Werroatdenend. ministers Vane, Rey holds and Alto Crosh will officiate.
