State Patrol Officer Injured in Motorcycle Crash
Patrolman Morris Riechman of Chester was critically injured when his motorcycle ran off a curve at the junction of Routes 112 and 160 yesterday afternoon. He is expected to recover despite fractures of the left pelvic bone and a broken right leg below the knee. An X ray showed pelvic fractures. internal injuries possible but not confirmed. Ed win R Meyer of St. Louis, in whose car the motorcycle skidded, posted a $500 bond for future appearance before Justice of the Peace Joseph Watter.
