County Prisoner Performs Stunts On Smoke Stack
A Chicago youth Roy Raibler 17 is released from Madison County Jail after a farewell performance as a human fly at the jail boiler house. Joliet, Aug 17 state authorities vow to indict anyone posing as highway officers. The latest case involved Claton Thornburg and a girlfriend near Highland Park where a deputy sheriff imposter dragged the girl and fired on Thornburg while taking her. John Stefanish, a 43 year old building contractor and former deputy, was later arrested and identified by Thornburg and the girl with Stefanish’s car. Additional women have been asked to identify the defendant.
