Missing man Randolph found in Seattle after weeklong absence

Donald Lee Randolph a 48 year old man with mental handicap who had been missing for nearly a week was located by Lynnwood police on First Avenue in Seattle among a group of street people. He had ridden the wrong bus from Desert Industries to downtown Seattle and spent a night in Pioneer Square before being found at a toy store.

Lynnwood council moves to permit hot air balloon ride

Charges Dropped In Lynnwood Case After Victims Admit Lies

Snohomish County prosecutor says charges against Michael Ryan 28 were dropped after the alleged victims admitted much of their stories were false. The kids aged 3 to 5 had described abuses. one 13-year-old admitted guiding them to Ryan but later said he did not know him. The teen passed a polygraph, aiding the decision.

Teen gunman robs Lynnwood grocery in late evening

Snohomish County deputies hunt a late teens bandit who pulled a revolver during a Saturday robbery at Top of the Hill Grocery 3618 164th St SW. About 150 dollars was taken after the clerk paused for cigarettes. suspect fled on foot, no shots fired. He stood about 5 feet 4 inches, 150 pounds, with dark brown hair, mustache, wearing a faded blue jeans jacket and jeans.

Banks barred from public funds risk for Lynnwood thrift

Treasury officials barred government treasurers from placing public deposits in three savings and loan associations, including Lynnwood Savings and Loan Association. State records show negative net worth at all three, though deposits are insured and operations continue. Lynnwood, based in Lynnwood, has assets around 76 million dollars and deposits of public funds about 1.9 million as of June 30.

State moves to condemn Edmonds ferry dock over lease dispute

The Washington Department of Transportation plans to condemn the Edmonds ferry dock to end a stalled three year lease dispute with the Port of Edmonds. The state seeks ownership to enable expansion while the port argues the dock is owned by multiple entities and valued at about 1.3 million.
