Little Red School House marks 20 years and new director
The Little Red School House for developmentally disabled children under 3 years old marked its 20th anniversary with a Sunday reception in Lynnwood. Barbara Borders Edmonds retires after 10 years. Debra Kelly becomes director, moving from Massachusetts to join the school, which has served about 250 children in 20 years.

Kindergarten registration under way for 1983 84 programs
Parents urged to register children at the nearest school before June 22 to secure preferred session. Three options for 1983 84 include full day every other day with some Fridays off, half day with parent transport at Spruce and Seaview, and full day every day at Sherwood with transport and extra cost. Children must be five by Aug 31, 1983 or screened for early entrance if born Sept 1 to Dec 31 1983. Registration 9 am to 3 pm weekdays. bring birth certificate, immunization and emergency info.
