Edmonds seeks parole office move near school concerns
Edmonds City Council voted 5-2 to urge state corrections officials to relocate the adult probation and parole office at 7907 212th Street SW to a less disruptive area. Officials cited proximity to Edmonds Senior High and a residential neighborhood, though state administrator Jim Crabb noted no rise in violations and that most offices operate near schools. The council asked Mayor Harve Harrison to press for criteria on locating such facilities.
