Woodway wins second Wesco AA wrestling title
Woodway Warriors defeated Mountlake Terrace 27 to 21 on January 27 to claim their second straight Wesco AA wrestling championship. The match featured tactical moves including weight-shifting by Woodway to avoid forfeits, with Woodway securing the lone pin in the 135-pound bout and narrow wins by Woodway’s 101 108 and 168 pound wrestlers. Terrace led early but Woodway sealed the victory through key decision wins and a strategic forfeit in the unlimited class.
