Lynnwood Hikes Water and Sewer Rates for Utilities
The Lynnwood City Council unanimously approved a first rate increase in four years to fund operating and maintenance costs. Average water bills rise about 3.9 percent and sewer bills about 10 percent, with typical 1 000 cubic feet usage moving from 10.35 to 10.75 monthly. Sewer rates go from 6.90 to 7.60, and annual increases are planned to avoid large future jumps.
