CT Transit plan seeks major South County reroute and transit center
The Community Transit board heard a plan for a new transit center near Alderwood Mall as the centerpiece of a South County route overhaul to streamline service, shorten layovers, and speed trips. The changes would direct lines to the center for quick transfers, expand coverage, and reduce zigzag routing while keeping riders informed through a broad marketing effort. Public workshops are under way with final details due before the May board meeting.
