In Pittsburgh a pair of Black men named Coombs and Williams were hanged this morning for murders. Coombs killed Mrs Elizabeth Dickerson on February 8, 1905. Williams murdered his mother-in-law Mrs Maggie Quincy on September 16, 1905 then shot his brother-in-law in a neighbor’s house.
