Report on State W C T U Convention at Sumter
The thirty third South Carolina W C T U session held in Sumter drew 66 delegates and many visitors. Miss Anna Gordon national president spoke on prohibition, praise for Gov Manning, and the growing anti liquor sentiment. Officers and superintendents were elected and reports noted $1 865 12 in receipts. a memorial roll call honored many members who had passed away.
