Carroll Mays returns home Tuesday night after honorable discharge from military service. He came directly from Fort Douglas near Salt Lake City where he served since his overseas duty. He volunteered for service in 1916 during the Mexican border troubles, served eleven months in the war with Germany and received two minor wounds from a machine gun attack. Friends greet him warmly.
