Miss Sophie and Sadie Mims hosted a large Halloween party at Miss Sadie Mims home in Edgefield with spooky decor and costumed guests. Activities included a fortune reading, a ghostly tour, a witch's cauldron, prizes, and a candlelit lawn finale. The Edgefield Community Fair will follow on November 8 at the Opera House with exhibits and prizes from local merchants.

Court of Common Pleas reported a verdict for defendant E. B. Dorn in the Bank of Parksville suit over notes claimed by fraud. J. Wm.
