Edgefield merchants promote specialty meats and household goods. H H Savers emphasizes choice beef, Augusta purchases, and competitive Edgefield pricing, inviting patronage. Multiple ads note oysters, crackers, seeds, coffee, patent medicines, wagons, harnesses, eye care, trunks, china, guns, seeds, furniture, and Rock Hill buggies with terms.
Mr B Jones made a business trip to Augusta on Thursday last. Miss Virginia Addison visited Johnston on Friday. J Berrien Wakter spent last week in Atlanta returning Saturday. Several others went to Johnston on legal business Saturday. Rev T P Burgess will preach at Trenton Sunday morning and Johnston evening. Mrs Foreman of Ellenton visits Buncombe and Ridge Spring belles Lula Jones and Helen Sheppard. Community updates include quarry work near Edgefield, railroad repairs, church activities, and local social notes. The Wages family to perform in the opera house Tuesday evening, and local markets urge buying at Edgefield merchants.
Otto Dodd of Ponder Missouri states he suffered a year from an ugly sore before using Bucklen’s Arnica Salve, which he credits with curing it. The ad notes the salve as the best on earth and sells for 25 cents at The Penn Drug Store.
A long standing offer grants liber al quantities of Longman Martinez Pure Paints to any church or institution supported by voluntary contributions. The program has run for twenty seven years with tens of millions of gallons sold and about two million houses painted under a repaint guarantee if unsatisfactory. Paint lasts up to eighteen years and requires linseed oil. cost about $1.25 a gallon. Samples are free, sold by agents including The Penn Drug Store.
From Edgefield a notice says Miss Johnnie Sanders, who has been laboring in Shanghai with Miss June Nicholson, will give a detailed report on her foreign field work at the Methodist church this afternoon at 4 o'clock. All Edgefield residents are urged to attend.

M A Taylor offers daily ice delivery with 7 am 10:30 am and 6 pm slots except Sundays. Prices vary by weight from 25 to 60 cents per 100 pounds with special rates for beef, beer and soda water dealers. Tickets on sale at Field Warehouse in 1908.
