Johnston–Steinhart Daitch Wedding Quietly Held

Miss Belle Steinhart wed Morris Daitch of Edgefield in a small ceremony at the bride’s sister Mrs Sam Wolfe home. The death of Mr Wolfe’s father two hours before delayed plans for a bridal tour. Many local figures and several guests attended and the couple remained briefly before traveling to Edgefield.

Mr Byron West died at his home in the Berea Pleasant Lane area after a brief illness of acute indigestion. He was born and raised in the same community and will be missed by friends and neighbors. Funeral held at Berea church with Rev H B White officiating. he is survived by his mother Mary J West, a sister Mrs Mary Emma Etheredge, and a brother Frank West of Augusta.

Fillion Concert Party Set to Grace Audience on April 9

Edgefield School Grades Stage Delightful Tuesday Program

Lower Edgefield pupils entertained higher grades Tuesday with a varied program presided by Rev. A L Gunter.
