Odell Brokerage, started by William J Odell who brought $10 000 to Cincinnati from Savannah, operated with a $25 000 capital. $19 000 paid in, while the public supplied over $1 000 000 to be divided among the six telegraph and clerk workers who ran the operation after Odell’s death left an estate reportedly valued at $2,000,000.

Mrs. Margaret Wilkins of Park Place was severely injured in Norfolk Ghent when she jumped from an electric car at Moran Avenue and Olney Road Sunday night. She was picked up unconscious after falling full length on the pavement and striking her head. Her pocketbook fell and she leaped off while the conductor did not signal the motorman.
Brigadier General Harry H. Bandholtz opens a tour of inspection in Jolo and will advance to Davao to command constabulary forces in pursuit of mutineers from the June 6 Visayan mutiny.
