U D C Meets Form Red Cross Auxiliary in South
The U D C met February 14 in Red Cross rooms with Mrs E P Jones presiding. A $32 contribution for Wade Hampton bed in France was noted, with many members donating 25 cents or more. A motion established a Red Cross Auxiliary, with several members listed as founders and a committee to send a flag for fallen countrymen.
