A committee chose Edgefield as the Field Day site with Friday April 7 as the date. Each school will perform, a parade opens activities, and a 10 prize goes to the school with most representatives. Evening declamation and recitation award a gold medal to top boy and girl. A Jack London movie John Barleycorn plays Friday February 25 in the opera house to raise funds for the school improvement club.
