Medal Contest and Temperance Rally at Rehoboth Church

The third temperance rally was held at Rehoboth church with J D Hughey presiding and Rev Warren of Parksville leading in prayer. The event featured declamations by OC B Littlejohn and J T Littlejohn Jr plus songs by Eleanor Mims and Corrie Cheatham as well as speeches by O Sheppard and Dr Blackwell, ending with a Dry line skit and a call to vote September 14 1915. Six cars of Edgefield friends attended.

Death of Walter Miller A Trenton Farmer

Walter Miller died Saturday in a Columbia hospital after a weeks long illness Pneumonia claimed the life of the respected Trenton farmer He spent his life in the region and built a large, productive farm The funeral was held Sunday at Ebenezer Church with Rev J R Walker officiating He is survived by his devoted wife
