Harmony School lecture and May events announced
The Harmony School Improvements Association will host an entertainment at Harmony school Friday May 2 at 9 PM. County Chairman J H Cantelon placed German helmets for a Victory bond raffle. A War Tank from France will be shown May 5 afternoon. Civic League plans May 16 library reception and asks for silver offerings. The League has invested in a $50 Victory Bond.

Cholera Strikes County Hogs as Officials Seek Aid
Cholera is raging among hogs in this county and all swine owners are urged to cooperate with the agriculture and hog cholera teams. See a veterinarian or County Agriculture Agent if sickness appears, and burn all dead hogs to prevent spread.
Hogs May Be Shipped From County
If enough hogs are gathered a car will be shipped to northern markets by agricultural men. Farmers with hogs ready for transport should notify County Agent A. B. Carwile or Mr. J. D. Kemp before May 7, giving number, weights, and finish status. A Clemson College expert will grade and market the car load. Hogs expected to bring 14 to 18 cents per pound.
