The Westlake High School graduation exercises drew full attendance at the Baptist church with Ida Randall delivering an ambitious oration on Ambition while May Currey Orrin Ingram and Williardley spoke in declamations. A second annual alumni banquet followed, with C L Allen presiding and toasts from Allen, Alderman, Sutherland, and Wilcox. At East Side High School, graduation ceremonies honored Daniel Buck, Jegin J Kelly, May Kelly and Percy Cochran with speeches on Electricity and Magnetism, Home Rule for Ireland, and the Annexation of Canada, interspersed by musical selections and diplomas presented by John Ure Jr.
