Mr and Mrs W T Eeson and Joh Wasmond attended Methodist services in Eagle Lake last Sunday. They returned to Houston after the service. They once lived near Weimar and Rev J C Wilson served there for years. Howard Firakt, a Wichita Falls fielder, with Mrs Fitzgerald and their two children, stayed Tuesday visiting relatives in the old hometown. He says he is undecided where to spend the winter.

A J Brune Suffers Painful Burned Hand Near Mill
A J Brune sustained a severely burned right hand while operating a grist mill on his property eight miles north of town last Saturday. Gasoline spilled when shutting off the fuel line ignited, the fire contained by sand and healing under a physician's care. The shed measuring about forty by fifty feet narrowly escaped major damage in the incident reported by the Colorado Citizen.
