Pioneer Rice Farmer G A Seaholm Dies at 3:40 PM
G A Seaholm longtime Eagle Lake resident and pioneer of local rice farming died at Laughlin Hospital at 3:40 pm last Thursday August 26. He introduced the use of the combine in harvesting rice and had been in ill health. He was born February 6 1896 near El Bin Fleune to Axel Seaholm and Anna Pearson Seaholm. Surviving children include Leo Howard Seaholm and Axel Seaholm, two stepsons, three half sisters, and eleven grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Mill Tower Funeral Home with Rev Homer Weimer officiating.
