Texas Voters Debates Bond Proposals and Education Funds
A sprawling Texas article outlines proposals on constitutional amendments for tax shifts and bond funding. It notes education funding debates, retirement plans for teachers, and public funding for infrastructure with lines about municipal leagues, water boards, and state control over taxes. It mentions officials like Attorney General Karun and Secretary of State Hay Barrera, plus associations urging more legislative money and local zoning discussions. The piece also covers health and agricultural updates, including diphtheria control, cotton farming deadlines, and public funding groups pressing for changes in taxation and governance.
