Veterans Land Board Forfeited Land Sale Set for November 1 1966
Land Commissioner Jerry Sadler announced the Veterans Land Board Forfeited Land Sale will be held on November 1 1966 at the General Land Office. He said delinquent payments are at historic lows, land prices rise, and the program saves taxpayers two million dollars yearly while assisting veterans to secure land and fund a lasting state economy. The state has purchased about three million acres of land for 35 300 veterans and circulated 24 million dollars to boost the state economy. Sadler pledged continued service to veterans with cost efficient land offers and prudent administration.
