Colorado Soil Conservation District News Highlights Local Farms
Weimar and Columbus Future Farmers of America members competed in the second annual grass judging at the Colorado County Courthouse. Weimar took first, Columbus second, with Emil Rabel and Clarence Shumbera receiving top gold and silver medals for high scores. District Supervisors, County Agent Joe Bradley, and Soil Conservation Service staff helped run the event, aiming to boost local interest in grasses and conservation plans.
