Amendment Adds S. S. Credit For Service Personnel
An amendment to the social security law extends the $160 monthly wage credits for active military service through April 1956. Service in any armed force now counts toward old age and survivors benefits as if employed in a covered job, with at least 90 days required unless death in service or disability discharge. Stay out of revolving doors, officials say.
