Statewide ballot amendments and ballot scratching explained
Voters will face eight constitutional amendments on the general election ballot with a ninth added via a special election on Nov 13. Each amendment appears twice on the ballot as FOR and AGAINST, and voters must scratch the option they oppose. Ballot scratching is legal and allows voters to vote for some candidates while crossing out others.
