Indefinite Delay For Second Polio Vaccine In Region
County Health Officer W T Vyeuens said the second polio inoculation may be delayed due to vaccine shortages. The delay affects three clinics in Columbus, Wei mar and Eagle Lake as shipments to the area are routed to the West Coast for review. Garwood Future Farmers of America members partnered with Garwood Dehydrating Company to run a feed experiment yielding a total profit of 266. Calves in three pens fed varying mixes achieved daily gains and earnings. six calves sold at Columbus Livestock Auction averaged 22.92 per hundredweight, the rest at 280 per pound. All feeds were home grown and processed by the Garwood Dehydration Company.

Porcupine Captured Near Egypt by Local Resident
A fully grown porcupine was captured near Epype Tesday morning by Frank Houzh of Lissie. He tossed a sack over the animal to restrain it and planned to turn it over to a raisinman. Two Brothers Drown Fishing at Shaw's Bend
