Exi C Gill a 32 year old oil well driller with Sterling Oil and Refining Company is in serious condition at Methodist Hospital Houston from injuries sustained at the Sterling-Coyle well near Garwood Wednesday morning. Crew reported to work at Coxice Sterling well. he was struck at the hatch and pushed by machinery, placed in an automobile and rushed to Wharton before transfer to Houston hospital. He underwent operation and remained in critical condition with slow recovery. the incident occurred amid drilling operations in Garwood area.
