The remodel features fountain service, veterinary department, and prize drawings with items like a Hawkeye camera set and a Wesiclox alarm clock. Mr Balas extends invites to all families and children attend Friday 6 to 9 pm and Saturday 8 am to 9 pm.
Members of Club Montezuma are invited to a series of game parties at the Community Center starting Tuesday to name club champions in Bridge and 42. Admission is fifty cents per couple with refreshments served. Couples may bring one guest. if interest grows the event may extend to include additional games.

The Eagle Lake Lions Club hosts the Cub Scout Kite Tournament at Eagle Lake Recreation Center on Sunday March 27. Parents will enjoy a noon basket lunch while judging begins. Entries must be limited to one per Cub with a minimum ten feet tail. Divisions include largest kite smallest kite most airtime highest rise most original and longest tail. A trophy goes to the Den with the most winners and medals go to the top three in each division.
