Memories From a Journey Through Distant Ranches and Dances
The narrator recalls a whirlwind week with famous dancers, noting Flora’s grace and the strain of meeting schedules. They describe travels through green wheat farms in the United States, a Wyoming ranch owned by Tony Pinchback, and a secretary, Era May Prachzack, who shares stories. Interlaced are reflections on classmates and Mildred Mussze, as Elsie Xallina documents a personal diary-like travel episode with scenes of social and romantic intrigue.
