Dan Thompson Rites Held In Corpus Christi Hospital
Dan Thompson M Thompson age 66 brother in law of Mrs W F Meitzen, doctor, died at Corpus Christi hospital Saturday June 1 from heart failure after long illness. Services were held from the Methodist Church June 3. He is survived by his wife, mother Mrs James Thompson of Robstown, and three married children, two daughters and one son, four grandchildren and two sisters. Mrs Meitzen and her daughter Mrs Ronald Janow attended services and stayed with the family. While in Robstown, Mrs Meitzen received word that her late husband A W Pahventhold of Freeport suffered a heart attack and died before reaching Freeport. he was placed in intensive care, but later improved and returned home with the ladies.
