Tex Exes Hear LORA Program Tuesday Night
Sixty five members of the Corona County chapter of the University of Texas Ex-Students Association met in air conditioned Community later Tuesday evening. County Lets Contract For New Bridge Over Pan Oak Creek
Colorado County Commissioners Court in a special session awarded a contract for a bridge on Pan Oak Creek between Garwood and Reck Island Road. A 24 inch pipeline easement crossing two roads near Provident City was approved, and bonds for Melvin F Camp bell were approved as constable. The Texas Eastern Transmission Corp received permission to cross roads with a steel pipeline to build a Blessing city station. An assessment firm Hing Latham Stults and Co was extended to cover 1957 and 1958 for wild and gas property valuation, earning four cents per $300 of assessed value.
