Colorado County records set at the Sixth Annual Colorado County Dairy Day in Weimar on May 28 with ninety one head judged. Fifty three exhibitors participated and champions were named for Holstein and Jersey entries. A Field Day on cotton production at Ramsay Prison Farm is planned for June 21 with farmer participation invited and reservations due by June 13.

District Approves Soil Conservation on 26961 Acres
The CD District Supervisors approved 174 Initial Conservation plans for April covering 26,961 acres. This marks the largest one month Cooperators total since 1947.
