Community Notes and Members in Fort Worth Convention Plan
Mrs Henry Skier and family have returned home after a few days in New Orleans. A Koym was selected to serve on a Committee of the American Legion Department Convention to be held in Fort Worth on August 34 7 of this year. We have reason to praise Mr Koym a World War I veteran who is always interested. In the American Legion Mr and Mrs A Quirey Je of Louise were dinner guests of Mr and Mrs A Leveridge last Thursday evening and later attended the softball game at the high school. Mr Quirey will be a Tiger as one of the new members of the high school teaching staff for the ensuing year. He is not a new worker by any measure as his age attests. Mr and Mrs J A Quirey are landowners in this community and his grandfather is the late H P Stockton Sr of Louise. Saciz, as he likes to be known, is a recent graduate of A&M Cottage and a very recent groom having married Miss Barona Cavers of Corpus Christi on June 26. We can look forward with pleasure to the coming of this young man to our community and our school. Ruralizing is due with time, says, but enables growth in nature of God. Four-year-old Gary Coxton, visiting for anydparents Meg and Meece Elsing, broke his right forearm in a fall from a porch Monday.
