Mes Govier was named honored guest at a six o clock dinner hosted in the home of Mrs. Ruby Ahle. The buffet served moulded chicken salad beets potato chips olives hot rolls with ice cream and cake for dessert. Yellow candle glow and crystal silver decor highlighted the table with calendula arrangements. Out of town guests included Mrs Govier's friend Mrs Bessie Hall.
