Waddell Home Destroyed by Thursday Fire

The Waddell homestead owned by Henry Johnson and later by De Pridges burned early Thursday. The two story frame house with ten rooms and two barns was destroyed, with extensive losses but furniture partly saved by brave volunteers and neighbors. Insurance covered portion of the building.
