Bride's gown of candle satin faille featured empire neckline and cathedral train. Maid of honor and bridesmaids wore cerise velvet bodices with pink trains.

Mrs. George Gray Dies In Minnesota After Forty Years
Friends mourn the death of Mrs. George Gray 90 a former Eagle Lake resident who passed away at 4 am Saturday February 12 in Sherburn Minnesota after years of declining health. Funeral services were held February 14 at a Hayfield Presbyterian Church and burial was in Hayfield cemetery. Born September 5 1874 in Sweden she emigrated at nineteen and married George Gray in 1908. The couple later moved to Texas to farm and ranch.

Nada CDA Court Hears Book Review
The Nada Catholic Daughters of America Court No 1595 met on Monday February 7 in the Parish Hall. Grand Regent Lucille Till was chosen as court delegate to the state convention in El Paso in April with Janie Kristynik and Annie Rek as alternates. A reception for new members is set for March 20 at the district meeting. Justina Korenek noted 80 members attended the Day of Recollection and urged spiritual renewal and charity. A book review covered Dr Tom Daly by Elsie Buxkamper. Lester Forbes of Texas City visited W G Darby’s home.
