Chrysler Corporation's Truck Bales division announces a 23 000 pounds gross capacity new line. Van Nortwick, director, says the models combine massive strength with smoothly flowing styling. Some trucks will be shown January 7 by Jones Motor Company in Eagle Lake.
The 15 2 ton 1 has been reduced eight inches while 2 1 2 and B ton models shrink six inches. New trucks keep body length the same by shorter wheelbases and unchanged axles. Cross steering enables four steering angles for easier parking and alley access. Comfortable seating, adjustable cushions, and all weather climate control enhance driver comfort.
