Harper Man Sees Rare Deer Battle West of Harper
H J Masters, a deputy game warden, witnessed two bucks clash antlers in a dramatic fight on a west Harper ranch property. He observed that the antler rattle attracted thirty deer to the scene, with mature and young bucks among them. The tale of horn clatter drawing deer may have some truth, he notes after watching the spectacle.
