The PTA annual bazaar opens at 5 PM Friday in the Eagle Lake High gymnasium. Booths offer food crafts and sale items with activities for children including a movie fish pond and carnival attractions culminating in a Womanless Style Show at 5 PM in the auditorium. Tickets and advance sales are available through PTA members.
Teves cotton raters are expected to vote in the national cotton referendum December 13 without knowing county or farm acreage allotments for 1956. The Ola Cotton Pell Association, with members in 46 East Texas counties, seeks relief after a plea by West Texas growers to halt the Texas Stabilization program.
