Private First Class Walde Schiurring, 21, son of Mr and Mrs Charles Spalinger, serves with Company A 3rd Battalion in the 4th Cavalry of the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. He entered service November 1966 after basic training at Fort Riley Kansas and is a 1965 Garwood High School graduate who attended Wharton County Junior College. Also notes a family visit to New Orleans and a stay at Ettle Lake Community Hospital following a week’s illness.
An audience invitation lists Mrs Harold Thomas for the Rice Theatre show on August 25 26 27 to view the film Secret Agent Fire bar with colors. Relatives including John Draper Stephens and Thea Spanihel from Easle Gale ard Wan Morie Strunk visit Sister Pigs at Ineramute Word Convent in Victoria Texas on August 6.

Five Garwood high school students attended a twirl camp at the Heart O the Bill Canty in Tint Texas. Attending were Marc Stallman Dianne Stallman Mrs Lawrence Sen ian Terr Tins and Agmetlar Mrs Enasthomas and Agmelle Reb rfintz of Mr and Mrs W Reusing. The group trained in all phases of tailing and planned performances including a special novelty routine with hopsehadie Maing and stand lanes. Midnight Draygirth offered service for customers at CE 4 2502.
