Jokes and wry quips from a tired city street
A collage of jokes and humorous vignettes from crowds and travelers. The notes include a father denying a dime for a boy, a cheeky exchange about ice, a gift query for a wealthy but frail aunt, and backstage gags about deconsecration, dehydration jokes, and a clerk’s quip about rents.
