Advert says Electric Bitters purify blood and cure malaria fevers headaches constipation and indigestion. Claims include removal of pimples boils salt rheum and other ailments with a satisfaction guarantee or money back. Sold by R Blacknall & Son's drug store at 50 cents and one dollar.
Product claims to kill insects and pests harming potato and tomato vines, eggplant squash turnip beet onion cotton and related plants. It targets canker worms catterpillars ornamental caterpillars lice cutworms and rose bugs.
Dust lightly on young plants through a cloth to kill bugs and worms. For soil application stir into the soil about an inch deep around the plants to deter pests.
