Durham Henderson Railroad Nears Completion
The Durham and Henderson Railroad, linking the tobacco towns of Durham and Henderson, is nearly finished with trains expected to run soon. Maj. John C. Winder announces appointments including F. W. Clark auditor D. S. Hudgings car accountant J. B. Martin auditor and F. H. Wright auditor of tickets and agents Henry Macy Henderson and R J Cheatham Durham. The line has opened to Bennehan thirty one miles and will soon extend to Durham. Hurrah for Hendersons new railroad the third.
