Death of Mrs G P Bostic Missionary Wife in Durham
The death of Mrs G P Bostic wife of Rev G P Bostic missionary to China reached Durham on the 21 inst after a sudden illness. She died May 8th with a small pox case. Mr Bostic, in Shanghai five hundred miles away, dispatched a letter but could not reach her in time as he rode back three days and ate little. Mrs Crawford cared for the dying woman and Mrs Bostic is remembered as devout and beloved by friends in Durham.

Cyclone Destroys Paw Paw Area Killing Seventeen
