Chartered November 1 1887 the new bank lists officers J B Carr president C B Bryan vice president Leo D Hartt cashier and C A Jordan treasurer. The board invites discounted paper Tuesdays and Fridays and offers 4 percent interest on six or twelve month certificates. Banking services include collections loans and deposits with a pledge to liberal service to the community.
